in order to Win!

Here we are at 10-5 -1st seed wildcard in our last game against the undefeated New England Patriots

In order for the GMEN to beat the PATS they'll need Ahman Bradshaw and Steve Smith to get involved in the underneath routtes in the passing game and to go with a one two punch of big bruiser Jacobs and cant get me off my feet I'll finish you speed, shifty game changing potential rookie Bradshaw.

The 2nd THING that's important is to get a 5 man rush 5th man comming from any direction up the middle to beat the PATS then they'll have to double cover and blanket Moss and not get beat to bad by Welker ghosting welker with a saftey or LB

The first two scenario's giving the game doesn't get out of hand fast on the GIANTS are practical the last covering New England's recievers easier said then done!! especially with the GIANTS secondary. BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS THIS IS A "TEAM" FOLKS!! They proved that last week against all odd's tornado's and tsumami's spitting in there face down 14-0 they rallied back!

The GIANTS dont owe it to the league to beat the Patriots and not rest there players !
If the game is competive til and not out of hand the GIANTS game plan New England's recievers well and are in striking distance than yes!!!Go 4 it

But if they're down by 10 or 15 or more the way the Patriots can score come 2nd or 3rd Quarter, We need to rest our player for Tampa Bay

************good luck Men!

DEFINING GAME

DEFINING GAME
written on 12, Decembre, 2007

....it would've been nice if Derrick Ward was playing and competed with Bryan Westerbrook the way Tiki had

But he's NOT unfortunately his season ended on his career best day last week with a fractured fibula {get well Derrick, and nice job}

Now enter Brandon Jacobs rushed back from a hamstring

this is his and Coughlin and the current regimes "defining game"

You will know what you got from the GIANTS after today!

Whether they're legitamate contenders viable to compete with Dallas's and Grenn Bay's and to a lesser degree Seatle's or just pretenders

Jacobs has to step up big, he's been nice thus far, but he hasn't hit that NEXT LEVEL!

Like Stephen Jackson and filled his complete bill

We shall see , hope and prey???

IT WAS THE RIGHT MOVE! ......AND THANK GOD WE GOT WARD BACK

GIANTS ARE NOW 8-4

AND 2 GAMES UP IN THE
WILDCARD
,

ALOT OF FANS QUESTION WHETHER THE G-MEN
SHOULD'VE TOOK A KNEE AND RAN OUT THE CLOCK , INSTEAD OF GOING FOR THE TD WITH
1:30 AND A TIMEOUT LEFT FOR THE BEARS?

I think IT WAS THE RIGHT MOVE! ......AND THANK GOD WE GOT WARD BACK
Reply Quote Delete Edit Favorites Contact Going fot the TD instead of taking a knee running down the clock was the right move, how many times in GIANT history have we seen the GIANTS try to be passive only to shoot themselves in the foot? "Joe Pizark fumble bring up any memmories?"

I dont agree with what Coughlin does all of the time, I especially question Off-Cord Gilbride,
But the way they ran that was perfect, It showed great confidence in their defense "what message would have it been to the defense if they didn't go for it and tried to run out the clock?"

And thank God that Ward played again, I would still like to see more of Bradshaw however, and what a tackle on Devin Hester on special teams by Blackburn.

.......we will miss Ward what luck on his career game he breaks his leg out for the rest of reg season most likely, dumb luck , but did you see the confidence level rise from the recievers when he was commanding from the backfield with Eli, it was like a totally different team, like Tiki was still here

*****P.S.

I see alot of GIANT fans thinking we have Philly next week, that it is a gimme game oh no...Philly is still 5-7 and dangerous especially at home! I doubt that we'll see 12+ sacks again next week. Expect a very tough game next week we're still struggling "it speaks volumes we won against another struggling team Da Bears whom are more talented than what they are playing or there record indicates, just like we are!".

****The best chances ...I see to win in the next 4 weeks are against Washington at home, and than the following week @ Buffalo the week after!
If it comes down to the last week against the Patriots (((O'H DRAMA!))) ...than again "ANY GIVEN SUNDAY?"

I say Yes to the fans who think "Philly" will be any gimme game because of erratic play of Philly's backup QB AJ Feely..... but remember Eli also has 6 Int and 2 fubles in the last 2 games as well... And only one wideout and NOT on the same page as Shockey?

If we had a healthy Plax, Jacobs and Ward, normally I'd agree with you

remember The Eagles can get after the QB also! They're almost a mirror image of us without the fancy reciever we have, and they still have Brian Westerbrook who should play this time out!

*?* Maybee we have Westerbrook Jr. in Bradshaw? but he wont get any kind of reg playing time until he learns how to pic up the blitz

** this isn't a gimme by no stretch!
