1st preseason - basically it was a disaster , the only positive aspect I got from the GIANTS 1st preseason loss to Caralina 24-21 was the RB Ward , and Droughns

I think the GIANTS made a huge mistake NOT drafting Jarod Gaither http://mondaymornqb.blogspot.com/2007/07/off-season-moves-tom-coughlin.html

Now you can cover up upfront defeciencies with skill players , but the GIANTS OLINE is much weaker moving Diehl who I'm sure will be an adequate left tackle. Moving him away from guard and having noone really to replace him at guard. The GIANTS looked confused at times on the blitz especially the left side!


On defense I dont know about this rookie Spagnola , but they were out of place misdirected and I believe the Mathis Kiwinaku project at LB is going to be a BUST!


Kiwi all through the ranks was never a run stopper!
and looks badly out of place at the sam LB

GAMES ARE WON ON D-FENSE or at LEAST with "DEFENSE"

I seriously would like to see the Giants go to a 3/4 with LDE William Josephs / NT Fred Robbins / RDE Jay Alford / - LOLB Reggie Torbor / ILB Antinoio Pierce / ILB Chase Blackburn / ROLB -Osi Umenora /

with fill in LB outside ~~0r~~ in with Kawika Mitchell and on 3rd down passing down's--> DE Mathis Kiwinuka

****One things for sure Eli will mature this year, with that defense and probably having to come from behind throwing the ball on every down!
