—Reports say that OLT Guy Whimper, a three-year veteran, has made “tremendous strides” and is ready to compete with David Diehl for the position. If he wins, Diehl will go back to left guard, where he would be an improvement over reliable journeyman Rich Seubert.

GAMES ARE WON IN THE TRENTCHES!
it's in this writers opinion that........I agree Adam Koetz and Guy Reugmar "even though hReugemar been solid, he's still an inside guy and 33 years old, ... both dont extacly evoke confidence? heh?
..
I only hope that Guy Whimper can win out the LT job in camp
putting Diehl ( who gave up 15.5 sacks third worse last season ) back to guard and back to elite pro-bowl level play
.
Or I think we'll be seeing alot of two TE sets this year emphasized from the Left side?
further more....We also have that same problem @ DE if Strahan retires and one of the regs gets hurt G-D forbid presumming Kiwinuka stays @ OLB we're down to Daave Tollefson as 3rd DE on chart and starter???
-------------------------->idk theres quite a few guys out there from major programs like USC's Drew Radovich who can play G or T and USC's Matt Spanos who can play all three positions upfront, as well as Tommy Blake once though as 1st round talent @ DE whom could play DE-or SAM LB
